The circle was complete. The men rushed to the nearest bar where young girls entertained the men just as their mothers and grandmothers did before them. 2004.

VIETNAM. NGUYEN Viet, was born in Gia Lai, Kontum, in February 1981 attached to his brother Duc. They were conjoined at the pelvis, with one anus, one penis, one urinary tract, one bladder, two kidneys, and three legs. They were eventually separated by a team of Japanese doctors. Viet is unfortunatley brain dead.

VIET NAM. The Binh Trieu Reform school now, in 2004, renamed the Binh Trieu Educational Training Centre, houses 1,400 inmates. All are heroin addicts thanks to the "open borders" policy that allows easy access from Viet Nam's neighbors. There are now 18 such centers in Viet Nam treating 30,000 addicts.

VIET NAM. Pham Thi Thuy Linh, 11 years old, was born in Ho Chi Minh City with no arms and first learned to write using her feet. She has now graduated to mastering the computer keyboard. Her grandfather was an army officer in the former regime and worked on an aircraft that carried and dispersed Agent Orange during the war.

Officers from Vietnam's Naval Region 3 Command were on hand to welcome the sailors and a bouquet of flowers was presented to the ship's Commander as he stepped onto a red carpet for the five-day visit.

His father, Bui Quang Hung, was a soldier with the NLF. The family lives in Quang Tri. She was sprayed and he believes he was affected by drinking water from local streams.
